My thoughts on the Winter Concert
In the Winter Concert I had to sing 2 songs which my class all had to do. It was "Heart of Stone" from SIX the musical and "Treat people with kindness" written and sung by Harry Styles. I didn't think that the Winter Concert was going to be good because I didn't really like the songs. But when we all got on stage it was more enjoyable just being up there as a group and singing and performing in front of an audience. As well as this everyone else's acts were fun to watch and everyone who was in the Winter Concert were clapping for each other singing together and having fun overall which made the night better.
Heart of stone
I felt like the class sang the song well with good harmonies and I felt like I gave my all and part in the harmonies as well. I thought it sounded good Ella was amazing like always and it gave me memories and flashbacks of the actual performance overall.
Treat people with Kindness
Although I didn't like this song very much, I felt like the boys did well considering we were outnumbered by the girl harmonies. Sometimes it was hard to hear the harmony of "And if we're here long enough, they'll sing a song for us" but we managed to blend it in with some of the higher harmonies to make it not sound too bad.
After Watching the songs back
Heart of Stone
After Watching Heart of stone I thought it was quite good, the boys tried to get the harmonies out but because there wasn't a lot of us we couldn't vocally match the girls dynamics. But we still got the harmonies through.
Treat people with kindness
I felt like the boys and I did very well to get the harmonies out and match the girls. We were loud and projected our voices but also had fun when singing it so that the song was more happy.
